In Ghana, small-scale miners have historically employed hand equipment like pickaxes and sieves. Chinese miners started coming to Ghana in the early 2000s. In a 2019 paper that was published in the journal Sustainability, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology lecturer James Boafo and his colleagues documented the phenomenon. "Chinese miners gradually replaced the crude methods and tools used by Ghanaian miners with more sophisticated machinery, such as diggers, water pumps, and bulldozers."

OUR DELIVERY PROCEDURE
1. Buyer (Representative) and Seller (Representative) shall meet in Accra, Ghana for inspection of the Gold.
2. An mount of Kgs of the gold shall be picked from the lot for the purposes of Assaying. After the first assaying, a second confirmatory test will be performed in the buyer's office and paid cash in US dollars to the seller.
SIGNATORIES
1. Each of the Parties hereto confirms, under penalty of perjury, that each has full legal and lawful authority to execute this contract and therefore all terms and conditions shall be fully binding.
2. The Parties have entered into this Contract in good faith and each shall use its best efforts in the full spirit of co-operation to promptly achieve the purpose set forth herein.
